(3) Secret Ambition 100% XP 0 - Result: 1 1st at 15/8
Race Results:1st (3) Secret Ambition (GB) 15/8 FavR MullenS Seemar 2nd (5) Musawaat (GB) 7/1 3rd (1) Galvanize (USA) 3/1 2Fav 3 Galvanize won twice here before Christmas but his form since the turn of the year suggests that he may be vulnerable to a better-handicapped rival today. 1 SECRET AMBITION 100% is another dual winner already this season and he arrives here on the back of a good run on the turf last time out. The son of Exceed And Excel accounted for a good field, including the aforementioned 3 Galvanize, over 1m here last month and he returns to his preferred surface off a 4lb higher mark. Pirate's Cove is extremely inconsistent but he is more than talented enough to win a race of this nature, although he could also finish tailed off. 2 Musawaat won a Newmarket handicap off a mark of 86 last August and he could be well handicapped if taking to the Dirt. Stall two could be a positive or a big negative for the son of Equiano because he will face a lot of kickback if missing the break. Nathr would win this race with plenty in hand based on his form from last season but his efforts so far in this campaign suggests that he is out of love with the game. One who should not be underestimated is Spring Offensive, who showed ability on his Dirt debut over an extended 1m1f and he should be more at home over this distance.

(1) Kimbear 100% XP 0 - Result: 2 2nd at 1/2 F
Race Results:1st (3) Raven's Corner (IRE) 5/2 2FavR MullenS Seemar 2nd (1) Kimbear (USA) 1/2 Fav 3rd (8) Silver Look (ARG) 80/1 This race appears to lack strength in depth and the two to focus upon are 2 KIMBEAR 100% and 1 Raven's Corner. The former was a useful performer in the US last year and he made an impressive UAE debut when winning by five lengths here last month. The four-year-old was a beaten odds-on favourite last time out but he may have bumped into a top-class rival on that occasion in Boynton and there is nothing of the calibre in this contest. Doug Watson's colt races off the same mark today and a more aggressive ride can be expected over this trip, which stall two also helps with. 1 Raven's Corner won twice here late last season and he ran well to finish third over C&D at the beginning of the month. The handicapper has dropped him 2lb for that effort and he will be hard to keep out of the frame if not getting too upset in the stalls. The pick of the remainder is Adventurous, who was Group-placed for Mark Johnston as a juvenile in 2015. He had been off the track for a long time prior to his run on turf here last month and Salem bin Ghadayer has done well with his recruits from the Johnston yard.

(3) Leshlaa 100% XP 0 - Result: 2 2nd at 7/4 F
Race Results:1st (1) Folkswood (GB) 15/8 2FavW BuickC Appleby 2nd (3) Leshlaa (USA) 7/4 Fav 3rd (6) Earnshaw (USA) 12/1 2 LESHLAA 100% won by half the track over C&D last time and he is expected to follow up if returning in the same mood. The rest are probably playing for the silver medal, though Godolphin strengthen their hand further by declaring Carry On Deryck, 1 Folkswood and Team Talk and none can be ruled out at this venue. A bigger danger than them all, however, may be Light The Lights, who won a C&D handicap before coming up short in a Group 2 here three weeks ago.

(6) Bay Of Poets 100% XP 0 - Result: Did Not Place
Race Results:1st (4) Janoobi (SAF) 11/2Jim CrowleyM F De Kock 2nd (10) Championship (IRE) 7/1 3rd (3) Noah From Goa (SAF) 9/2 Championship showed little when only beating one rival home in the Al Fahidi Fort behind Jungle Cat but there is every chance he needed the run badly after almost a year off the track. Dream Castle improved for his first outing in the same contest last time when third but he has shaped on more than one occasion as though a drop back to sprinting would benefit as he tends to race quite freely. Noah From Goa will prove a lot happier back at a mile having ran a lacklustre race on that occasion when fifth, but the vote goes to BAY OF POETS 100%. Charlie Appleby's gelding was no match for Benbatl when second in the Al Rashidiya but he doesn't face a rival of that quality in this field and he can take his first success at the Carnival.

(7) Capezzano 100% XP 0 - Result: 1 1st at 13/2
Race Results:1st (7) Capezzano (USA) 13/2M BarzalonaS Ghadayer 2nd (4) Footbridge (USA) 14/1 3rd (8) Claim The Roses (USA) 6/1 Drafted has won his last two starts but they were over 6f and 7f and he does have stamina to prove today, while he also has an 8lb rise to contended with. That was earned for his four-length defeat of the recent winner Yalta here earlier in the month but he might be slightly flattered by that form. Yalta got all of his rivals well out of their comfort zone with blistering early pace and when he failed to stay the 7f trip, Drafted stayed on past very tired rivals to get the victory. 1 CAPEZZANO 100% has Dirt form figures of 2133 and that incudes a third-placed finish to Thunder Snow in the UAE 2000 Guineas over C&D last season. He is clearly a much better Dirt horse than on turf and that means that his last two starts can be forgiven. A mark of 96 may underestimate his ability and, while a move away from Charlie Appleby's yard is usually a negative, the Salem bin Ghadayer/Mikael Barzalona partnership have a great record on this track. Classic Emperor is an intriguing Hong Kong raider and he has won on the Sha Tin Dirt track on multiple occasions. It is hard to assess the strength of his form but he cannot be discounted today. 2 Footbridge's form is mixed but he is a player if at his very best, while Ross was second in the 2017 Godolphin Mile but he needs a strong pace to be shown in his best light, something he might not get on this occasion.
