Community Verdicts

Below are all the popular horse racing verdicts for this race.

Racing Post - Coral - WilliamHill - All Say: Robert Cowell has saddled the winner of this race three times in recent years, so his Green Door, who will be happier in this smaller field after returning to form at Goodwood, and the best-fresh Sir Robert Cheval, are both entitled to respect. Lexington Abbey, representing in-form Kevin Ryan, could also figure despite never having won away from Nottingham but the vote goes to the veteran MIRZA, who finished well clear of the remainder when runner-up to Battaash in a Group 3 at Sandown last time.
RacingUK - AtTheRaces - Both Say:

Despite shouldering top weight the one that stands out is MIRZA, who will have no problem handling any cut in the ground. The veteran only found the top-class Battaash too good in a Group 3 at Sandown last time out and that followed a good fifth-placed finish in the Scottish Sprint Cup on his seasonal return. Pipers Note has to be respected following his C&D run last time out but he was only a short head in front of Lexington Abbey on that occasion and the latter is 1lb better off with that rival today. Green Door is another who warrants a place on the shortlist for this contest.
